PHILCAMSAT LMS Frequently Asked Questions
This section provides answers to common questions about accessing and using the PHILCAMSAT Learning Management System (LMS). Please review the items below before contacting support.
Use the username and password provided to you by the administrator or training office. Enter your credentials on the LMS login page, then click Log in.
2. What should I do if I forget my password?
You may click the Forgotten your username or password? link on the login page, if available. You may also contact the LMS Administrator or training office for assistance.
3. Why i cant I access my course?
There are several possible reasons: you are not yet enrolled in the course, the course is still hidden or unavailable, you have not completed the required prerequisite activities, or your account access may need verification.
4. How do I know if I am officially enrolled in a course?
Once enrolled, the course should appear in your dashboard or course list. If it does not appear, please contact the LMS Administrator or training office.
5. Why is the next activity locked?
Some activities are restricted until you complete the previous lesson, quiz, or required task. Please check the activity conditions shown in the course.
6. How do I open learning materials such as SCORM, videos, or modules?
Click the activity or module title in your course. Wait for the content to load completely, especially if it contains media, interactive lessons, or SCORM packages.
7. What should I do if a lesson or SCORM package is not loading?
Try refreshing the page, using a stable internet connection, opening the LMS in another browser, clearing your browser cache, or using a laptop or desktop device if possible. If the issue continues, report it to the LMS Administrator.
8. Can I use my mobile phone to access Moodle?
Yes, you may access Moodle using your mobile browser or the Moodle app, if enabled by your organization. Some activities may work better on a laptop or desktop.
9. Why is my quiz not opening?
The quiz may not yet be available, may already be closed, may be restricted by completion requirements, or may be affected by internet or browser issues. Please check the availability date and course instructions first.
10. What happens if my internet disconnects during a quiz?
It depends on the quiz settings. In some cases, your answers may be saved automatically. Re-enter the quiz as soon as possible and inform your instructor or LMS Administrator if you encounter problems.
11. How do I know if I passed the quiz or activity?
You may check your score, feedback, or completion status in the course. Some activities also display whether you passed based on the required grade.
12. Why is my certificate not yet available?
Certificates may only become available after completing all required activities, achieving the required passing score, and meeting the course completion conditions.
13. How do I verify a certificate?
Go to the Verify Certificate page and enter the certificate code in the provided field. The system will display the certificate details if the code is valid.
14. What should I do if my certificate code is invalid?
Double-check the code and make sure it is entered correctly. If the problem continues, contact the LMS Administrator or training office for verification.
15. How can I check my course progress?
Open your course and look for the completion tracking, activity check marks, or progress indicators. These help show which tasks are completed and which are still pending.
16. Why is my score not showing correctly?
Your score may still be processing, or the activity may require manual grading. If the score remains incorrect after some time, please contact your instructor or LMS Administrator.
17. Can I retake a quiz or activity?
This depends on the course settings. Some quizzes allow multiple attempts, while others allow only one. Please check the instructions shown in the activity.
18. Who should I contact if I experience technical issues in the LMS?
You may contact the LMS Administrator, training office, or the assigned support personnel of your department.
19. What browser is recommended for using the LMS?
For best results, use updated versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox.
20. Why is the LMS slow or not responding?
Possible reasons include slow internet connection, heavy system traffic, browser-related issues, or large learning materials loading in the background. Try refreshing the page or accessing the LMS again after a few minutes.
